I kept expecting that reporter to start yelling "But wait, theres more"!
As a good progressive king, I would bring back that position and a few more like Punkawallahs and Gong Farmer's (kind of the same but you get to pick up everybodys uh fertilizer).
Heck, there will even be a Whipping Boy spot for Scot or Scotty or maybe they would prefer the Daily Burier job (who doesnt like yelling "Bring out your Dead").

Evening DTR.
Where is the Janitor hiding now? He needs to clean this place up...it smells like Barks Septic Tank in here again.
FIL and the wife step mother came over tonight to visit. We ended up having pizza for dinner from a local pizza place. Work went well, spent the first half of my day finishing up some of my safety training refresher courses.

Holy crap dude....a fire in August!!!!!! Is it already that cold in North Earth? We were just glad to get some rain and cooler temps these last few days. Yesterday's high was 75* (normally like 110*) and today was only 90*. Felt like fall down here in Texas. I wonder if that's a sign of things come? We normally dry up about mid-June and start to cool down and get some rain about late October if we're lucky. The last couple days have been a true blessing. Hopefully some of the farmers around the nation can get some relief as well.

There is a 15K acre or so wild fire south of town burning right now and the wind changed bringing the smoke this way. looked like a big t-storm rolled in except the sun was blood red.
Aren't you supposed to use a couple of old rusted out cars for the leach field anyways??????

You don't notice the stink when you smell just like it.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 23rd:
1838 - The first class graduated from Mount Holyoke Female Seminary in South Hadley, MA. It was one of the first colleges for women.
1904 - Hard D. Weed patented the grip-tread tire chain for cars.
1914 - Tsingtao, China, was bombarded as Japan declared war on Germany in World War I.
1939 - **** Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression treaty.
1944 - During World War II, Romanian prime minister Ion Antonescue was dismissed. Soon after the country would abandon the Axis and join the Allies.
1944 - Marseilles was captured by Allied troops during World War II.
1962 - The first live TV program was relayed between the U.S. and Europe through the U.S. Telstar satellite.
1982 - The parliament of Lebanon elected Bashir Bemayel president. He was assassinated three weeks later.
1984 - South Fork Ranch, the home of the fictitious Ewing clan of the CBS-TV show, "Dallas," was sold. The ranch was to be transformed from a tourist site into a hotel.
1987 - Robert Jarvik and Marilyn Mach vos Savant were married. The event was called the "Union of Great Minds" since Savant had an IQ of 228 and Jarvik was the inventor of the artificial heart.
1990 - President Saddam Hussein appeared on Iraqi state television with a group of Western detainees that he referred to as "guests." He told the group that they were being held "to prevent the scourge of war."
1998 - Boris Yeltsin dismissed the Russian government. Again.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears.

Good Morning Misfits
Happy (late, very late) Berfday to Timmay!
Moved to a new office last week. They have teh interwebs down here. Kinda nice. I can DTR again.
Moved campgrounds too. Was able to get my own Comcast internet there too. Its quick, 4.5 megabytes/s on the download. Movie Time!
New camp spot is quite a bit nicer, close to civilization (Dickinson, Tx) with anything you need within 5 minutes, and cheaper too boot. Spot is 450/month with all utilities included. Last spot was 495/month and I had to pay the utilities, which were running 180-200 bucks a month. FOR AN RV! The owners were robbing people blind. When I pitched a fit about it, they basically said I was free to find another spot. People caring and running an honest shop is getting more and more rare these days.
How is everyone?

Howdy Scotty!
I tried that but my wife kept complaining about the upholstery being wet when she drove into town.
Kind of reminds ya of home dont it.
I think thats the biggest problem is that a lot of people just don't care about other people and they don't care what anybody thinks about them.
Oh, here is a different Sheepinator. Ratchet and Clank Commercial Sheepinator:

YOUR home maybe.
Actually, I think the biggest problem is people accepting second rate products AND service. Everyone wants the cheapest prices but they don't think about the kind of quality they're getting until that product fails to perform as expected.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
But... Blake seems to be performing just fine. Is t possible to have a second rate product perform??? This world never ceases to amaze me.
Unless of course the all those packages delivered to his house have something to do with it...
Afternooner all. Kinda quiet around here today. figured the pot needed a little stirrin!!!
