well you can keep him. we got a rumored panther somewhere around san jacinto river south of lake houston. my dad thinks he's seen it at the hwy 90 bridge and a friend of mine says he saw it at the local golf course.

I got an e-mail with that same set of photos...

Subject: WOW

If traveling near Martin SD I would be very alert.

From a guy out in Martin, S.D. Pictures taken from his kitchen Onto his
deck. The cat was watching his little kids playing on the kitchen floor.
Metadata shows that it was taken 03/10/04 with a Nikon E775...

Yea I got the same email saying that those pictures where taken in Tigerton Wisconsin. What forum did you get these off of? Just wondering because now I am curious if those pictures where even taken by my hometown.

Doh!! That's why you should never tell a lie. Sooner or later someone is going to call you out.

When I was young, I lived with my grand parents. There was a mountain lion that would travel thru every few months. One cry out of that cat and every one of my grandpa's coon dogs would be fighting to get under the porch.
Never went out without the shotgun or a rifle.

I like some of the comments on the other forum where there are more photos. "Question: Do I shoot thru the door or open it? ....shoot thru it!"

Some one on that site was giving everyone a hard time because most said they wouldn't think twice about shooting it.

I know if I saw that at my back door.....lets just say the 30.06 with 10 round clip would be banging away on that cat!

I'm thinking that a cat that close to a guy with a camera in a lit room is a bit too "friendly".

I'd probably go for the gun before the camera. I wouldn't think that kitty has cat nip on its mind...
