+1 for shooting the thing... I'll admit, if I had a tranc gun, it would be my first choice, if I could get a clean shot off...even then, I think I'd pump 3 or 4 into him just to be sure. Then he'd be about 500 miles away from my place. If he's there once, he'll be back...those pics are just when he got caught doing recon work for his big brothers... My kids are more precious than any cat, no matter how big or small.

And to think that the first thing I thought when I saw the tread title was someone saying that they like their CATalytic converter on their truck! Its nice to be proven wrong.

Looking at the rest of the pics....Its IMO it has become habituated and is no longer afraid and should be dispatched, the flash alone should have spooked it.

Same thing I thought and a few others as well.....
makes me wonder if someone who "wishes to remain anonymous" doesnt have an exotic pet and isn't doing another thing like the "mule attacks mountain lion " photos that were flying around the internet forever...

Very True!!!!... I have hunted cats for a long time and was finally able to take one (183 lbs) and I shot him at point black (maybe 3 ft) and all I could see was his yellow eyes glowing from he head lamp!!! That is a very good sized male judging by his head shape... I would't think twice....
