News about Kerry

The truth from the men who served with him. You can verify all of this stuff pretty easily on the internet, these guys would love nothing more than to have one of their shipmates become President, but thankfully not by ignoring the truth.

I'm not so concerned about his military record as I am his voting record, and his general record as a politician.

1. Showing up for less than 50% of the votes.

2. Voting against almost every major military initiative since Vietnam.

3. Changing opinions back and forth thereby confusing his supports as to what he really believes.

4. Picking a VP candidate who also didn't do his job. I know this based on the fact that he's from my state, and showed up to barely over 50% of his votes.

I could go on.

This is the ad that republican John Mc Cain called an out and out deceitful lie just like they said about him during the 2000 primaries. None of these men were on the same boat or served at the same time as Kerry so this is total BS.

Top, if you and I were in Viet Nam together at the same time, it can be said that we were "serving together". All of the men in that clip can truthfully say that they served with him. But none of the men in that clip were actually crewmates. I have the names of nearly all of the men who served on board with him, including the name of one dissenter who just happens to be a Republician. I can post them if you want, but none of them appear in that clip.

One of the syndicate radio shows had one of the gents that was on the same PT as Kerry. This individual was a gunner on the ship. He elaborated on Kerrys purple hearts and so called wounds. Others were interviewed as well and said the same of Kerry, Full of BS, lying, and not deserving of any Hearts. Considering what many others were exposed to in the war and the way they were treated upon return to the U.S.( Baby killers Etc) And now Kerry is using this for his #1 excuse to be pressident. Hah, Hah. open your eyes people.
BTW, Is Kerry really Herman Munsters child?

Again, I think you guys are totally focusing on something that is completely irrelevent. Who cares about his war record? It was 30 years ago.

What you need to look at is his record AFTER the war, as a politician. Look at his votes, look at the bills he supported and the ones he didn't. Take a look at how he changes his position on the issues based on polls, and what he thinks will keep him popular for the minute. It's not about his war record, it's about his political record and how that is going to affect us in the future.

This whole thing with he and Bush going back and forth about their military records is completely stupid. It takes away from discussion on the real issues, and makes people lose focus. I suppose that is what Kerry is TRYING to do since you can't really gauge what he thinks on certain issues. I'm not sure.

Ever since this Kerry thing made the headlines I have been wondering about something and hope that some of you can fill me in on this.
If it is ever conclusively proven that Kerry lied to get his Purple Hearts, what will happen to him? Can they be taken away from him? He is no longer in the military so presume that he cannot be court martialed. Can he be punished officially in any way?

As a Veteran his war record is Very important to me. He said My Fellow vets such as Top commited war crimes. I know a few did but that it was the norm was a Lie and it was used to demoralize our POWS even Mcain Said it before his latest swtich..
It Maters Alot.
I salute all Vietnam Vets.

Great, you can start here which is a a totally non-partisan site that merely tabulates voting history.

Yeah, it's balony. Kerry merely reported to Congress what other vets had said in public testimony concerning their own involvement in, or witnessing of, alleged war crimes. Kerry's 1971 testimony pertained to the so-called "Winter Soldiers" investigation conducted by Vietnam Veterans Against the War. If I'm wrong, how 'bout countering with something more substantial than blustering rhetoric.
