Question Newbie near Baltimore - Mopar Medley

Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum and wanted to introduce my truck and myself. Since my job takes me all over the country, I bought a 5th wheel trailer and this truck to pull it. Before long, the "Mopar Muscle Car" theme emerged. I guess this is what happens when you WANT a classic car but NEED a truck!

The graphics were influenced by the Rumble Bee, the 2004/2005 Ram GTX, 1970 'Cuda hockey stick stripe, and 1970 Super Bee logo. The hood of course is from the SRT-10 and the racing style fuel filler cap is like the one used on late 60s and early 70s Challenger and Charger.

I’m currently working in the Baltimore area and am planning some mods including an exhaust brake and gauges. If anyone can recommend shops in my area that do this, I’d appreciate it. Also, feel free to suggest other mods I can do that are consistent with the muscle car theme.

Thanks!

Thanks! I always thought the billet gas doors they sell for trucks were imitations of the old racing style caps anyway so I just brought it back to the original, classic style.

My first iteration (shown below) of this idea not only used the 69 Charger flip-cap (used on the Challenger, too) but it also used the 69 charger bezel. I loved the look. The bezel is the exact diameter as the gas door, but it didn't sit flush with the bed side so I replaced the Charger bezel (shown in photos below). I had some ideas to make the bezel fit better, but instead I took the easy way out and fastened it to a Bully billet door. It works great and I like this design, too.

Thanks, Totallyrad! I'm a big fan of vintage and classic cars and trucks but also love the conveniences and technologies used in todays vehicles. Combining them works for me. I think I was inspired by the Rumble Bee where Dodge mixed their muscle car past with their Hemi powered truck.

I'd like to do more modifications along these Mopar muscle car lines. Maybe some subtle, some bold. If anyone has ideas of I'd love to hear them!

Side pipes, I love 'em. There was a fella that posted the other day about them. He had started to manufacture them for the diesels but his posts got pulled, sad.

Somewhere I saw some truck side pipes that doubled as step tubes. Interesting. I've also considered some of the aftermarket dual exhaust systems for the diesel. Two shiny exhaust tips coming out the rear sort of says "muscle car", too. For now, I just have the single stock exhaust dumping into this 18" long Silverline tip.

I work in Middle River but live in Abingdon. I'm new to the area, but I think Essex is just up the road. Is that where the cave is, too?
