Frosty - I Have Argued With My Wife (on His Behalf) For Years On This - But It Has Becomean Impossible Situation -
We Have Had To Contact The Leo`s In His Area -they Know The Truth - But If We Go Over There He Becomes Confrantional - -just Seams To Make Thins Worse.
What We`ve Been Doing Is Having Leo`s Check On Him And Since He 1/2 Way Get`s Along With Our Kids They Have Checked On Him.
But That Is Burning Out Also - Really Don`t Know What We`r Going To Do .
Feel Terrible About It - We Should Be Taking Care Of Him In His Old Age -but He Makes That Impossible.
Both His Daughters And His Son Have Given Up -
His Son Does Call Him- (he Lives In S-carolina) But His Dad Is Verry Confrintational With Him Also .

Non Of The Kids Want His House Or Property When He DIES- Two Many Bad Feelings

Lousy start to my day today. Didn't sleep well. Once I got up I had to go to the Child support office. They have really inconvienient hours (1100-1615) Got there at 1610 and the lights were off and door locked. Bad enough that they like to mess with my paycheck but now thier inconvienient hours got even worse.... Stupid government offices.

I still haven't finnished the Kids room remodel cause I was wasting time at the CSED office.....Good thing I'm in jail tonight.


Some one had to check them......

 

Night shift here. Everybody's jabbing so I guess I'll put the coffee on.

Morning everybody! Storms headed here this morning, allot of others will probably get it worse to the north. Keep them in your prayers.

 

Just got done with (another) useless meeting. 76 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Now I know why I've been skipping this particular "pleasure" the last few months. Unfortunately the meeting chair has changed out, and he thinks I should go. Actually he tried to tell me I didn't have a choice, which required a minor mentoring session to fix that nonsense...silly Company Grade Officers...you'd think they should be taught not to mess with Senior Noncommissioned Officers. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and guess what? Nothing's changed. Same garbage as always. 25 folks trying to work inside deals for their personal or individual unit gain, while not bothering to actually address the purpose of the meeting. Don't think I'm going back to that garbage again.

Tomorrow's got a 0345 showtime, and looks to be even longer than today. Guess I'll be stoking up the coffee pot every hour or so. Yippee

 

Oh yeah...I forgot the highlight of my day so far. Apparently the new contractor didn't plan right, so the DFAC is serving the same three-day menu for the next nine days. Might not be so bad if it was like roast beef, chicken breast and lasagna, but it's not. We're limited to breaded fried fish, yakisoba (picture ground beef, green peppers and spaghetti noodles), and baked pork chops that could double for indestructible frisbees. Gonna lose a few pounds over the next week or so I guess.

 

Time to find that stash of MREs eh?
