I stopped reading that thread a long time ago for similar reasons.

I agree with you there. We got beat this time. The democratic party is going to have to clearly state where they stand on the issues. As of right now the Republican Party has guns, religion, anti-gay sentiment, and terrorism. The Democrats are going to have to make some sort of dent into that and still not give up their fundamental beliefs.
This is just my opinion, which is why we have 2 different parties.

Thank you for the complement.

Britt

Sorry for the confusion. You might turn down the sensitivity some.

Their fundamental beliefs is their biggest problem in my opinion. Not necessarily "Democrats", but liberals. It seems to me that there are no such things as Democrats and Republicans any more though. You're either liberal or conservative or right dead center.

Of course, seeing GW win was my biggest satisfaction, but................my second was to show the likes of Moore, Springsteen, A**lack, Asner, Sarandon, Eminem and few others that just because they have marquee names, they can't sway the real folks out here that know right from wrong.

Oh, by the way, Springsteen has been dub the Pied Piper now.........he led a bunch of rats to the polls!

Only kidding......only kidding....

I'd like to share one about my wife last night...............

About 1:30 AM, she was sitting on the end of the bed watching one of the news channels that was talking about the election when one of the guys said something like " If Kerry looses, what is he going to say"?

Without hesitating, she jumped up and started yelling, "Call my lawyer, call my lawyer, I want to see my lawyer!"

I laughed until I cried. My little wife is a sweetheart, but she's not really known for her humor.
