I take it you got one? You should have gone two numbers up, I think the 19 is full auto.

Yes...and you think wrong. The G18 has the ability to shoot full auto, but it is very much illegal in the U.S. (unless you have the proper license for it). The G19 is the compact of the G17.

Why? All you do is make fun of us. Your lucky that we still acknowledge your presence.

Good looking gun. I can't wait to hit 21 and be able to get my own. I'm looking at the model 22 or 23 .40cal.

Hush up, boy. You're not old enough to even OWN a gun.

Side Note: Both the G22 and the G23 are great firearms. I carry the G22 and my dad carries the G23.

Nice gun - I like my G17, but it's an older model. I've pumped a ton of ammo through it and it still shoots like it did on the first box.

I carry a G19 at work and I'm thinking about buying one of my own - it's a little easier to carry it concealed than the G17. I may even go with the smaller version...I'm just waiting to see what the department wants for them when we switch to the .40 cal.

Yes, yes I do. In fact, I expect nothing less than "excitement" from everyone on this board.

The G18 is indeed the full auto version. I had the privilege of using one for a while. It is amazingly fast. Fairly controllable too.

If only I had enough pennies.......

And congrats on the new addition to the family. You can never have too many guns !

Actually, I know one person who, in my opinion, has too many guns. In addition to the 4-5 gun safes he has that are full, every closet in his run-down house has been turned into a make-shift gun safe (reinforced closet doors with padlocks). Honestly, it's a little excessive. I think he has around 300 guns. Ammo and reloading supplies EVERYWHERE. If his house ever caught fire the best course of action would be to evacuate the neighborhood and let it burn itself out. He kind of scares me.

That being said, there are at least three more that I hope to get in the near future: G26, G27 and Remington 870 Synthetic 18". After that I'll start thinking about rifles.

I had a chance to get one (pre-ban) with the night sights, I got a sig instead. Both were around $400 used in good condtion at the time.

Nice piece though.
