ok, guess i did not lurk long enough before posting....so what is BOMB? seen that in several posts....watizzit?
and oh...why is IT SO BIG??? the truck guys.....not the other thing....
i mean, why does it set up so high? a buddy has a 99 PSD with 6 inches of lift, and his roof is only ~3 inches higher than mine.
the wife (5'0) and the kid (5'1, and not 200 LBs together, holding a toolbox) were cruisin the cummins today, and some guy in a D'max rolled up beside them at a stoplight, and they both just smiled, looking down at him....
all the rednecks down here park beside each other, and the old CTD always stands tallest. yeah, maybe i'm a geek for thinking that's cool....but hey, i'm simple...
as for running for Hardee's and buying lunch, our local hardee's got like a ~79 sanitary rating, and the last time I went, the tray stuck to my hand....yuck.....

04ctd welcome after you fill up with diesel fuel you can stop by Hardee's for gas
as far as bombs go it will be better for your marriage if you don't inquire about that. any thread with edge e-z injectors bullydog bhaf scotty 11 or similar types should not be opened by the weak at heart or pocketbook. and whatever you do don't let anyone ever talk you into taking the silencer ring out of the turbo

Welcome 04ctd! You'll find a great bunch of people here,and all the expert advice that you could ever need. As for the 4.10 gears, I like mine because I pull around an 11K pound fiver. If you never tow anything, you'll probably wish you had taller gears. However, IF you tow anything, you'll find the 4.10's the cat's pajamas.(am I dating myself here?) I am turning about 2250 rpms at 70, which isn't any big deal to the Cummins, but you can get better mileage (that's fuel mileage
) with the 3:55's or the 3:73's. With the 04, noise shouldn't be a problem.

Welcome 04,
To bad your truck is so quiet because everyone here at the site will always make you go to Hardees because you won't have to turn of the engine for the drive through speaker.
Ask a lot of questions and gets some pics on the member photo gallery so we can see the new ride.

In a nutshell, BOMB means Better Off Modified Baby.
Welcome to the circus.
If you have a fax machine, you will also be asked to fax donuts, cake, sticky buns, or some other form of snack to various members.
Make sure that the coffee is on at 5:00 am.
Watch out for sheep, penguins.(this will all make sense soon)
Also watch for flying trashcans at about 5:30 am.
