Need some prayers
Hey guys. Im in the Navy, and stationed in Gulfport, MS. This morning before quarters, my phone rings and it was my dad. I immediately got a bad feeling in my gut. He had called to tell me that my uncle had died at 0400 this morning from a heart attack. My uncle was still on the south side of 50. Im kinda sitting here in disbelief. I guess when its your time its your time. I talked with grandpa this morning he is really distraught at this point in time. Im going to be heading to TN this afternoon. I would appreciate any prayers that you could send our way.

Father God we lift up Marshalls family and ask that you bring them peace and unity. We pray in the name of Jesus that all the insurance and bill sitautions will be taken care and they will use this situation to become a closer family and become closer to you. We thank Marshall for his service to his country and we ask that you will keep him safe in his travels and during his time in the Navy.

Sorry for your loss - - and shy of 50 is way too young. Yet, we do not know God's plan and when He feels it is time, we go. He gives life and He allows this mortal life to end. The beautiful part is we can always gain eternal life by following His words and putting our faith in Him. I also pray your family will be drawn close to Him at this time. Wonderful time for us all to recheck our position with our creator.

Thanks for the kind words and the many prayers. The funeral will be in the morning. Please keep my family in your prayers, especially my grandpa. He is taking it especially hard. I sat and talked with him this morning for about an hour. He was smiles and times, and tears at others. As has been said, this life does hold uncertainty and when its our time its our time. I appreciate all the support you guys have given. DTR is like a family away from family.
