Question Need some blender recipes

Ok fellas, as most of you know I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out of my jaw. I can't eat much of anything, espescially solid foods. I am getting tired of the pudding, ice cream, yogurt, and fruit smoothies. I really want some meat. Unfortunatley if I tried to eat some meat it woulld hurt like heck. You guys have any ideas on thing that I could eat or have purečd in the blender?

Steak works good in a blender.

Seriously, if you need some protein, scramble up some eggs. Mashed potatoes or oatmeal will give you some good carbs that'll stay with you for a while.

Some pate's like liverwurst are a good source of iron. You could puree a steak in the blender,, not sure how good it would taste. Another option, you could hit the baby food isle of your grocery store but as my recollection goes it tastes like kaka, even babies wont eat it. You could also make something soft like sheppards pie or spaghetti..has meat and doesnt need chewing. If you have a pressure cooker you can cook beef with potatoes and veggies. The pressure cooker makes the meat so tender it literally falls apart. Hope you heal better soon.

J.R., when I had mine done, I ate alot of pudding, (actually not too bad for ya), peanut butter, and potatoe pancakes. Soft cheeses, yogurt, soft boiled eggs and the like.....
You can also have a lot of soups, soak yer breads in them till they're soft..
I remember having mine pulled, it was a real PITA

I saw this on Saturday Night Live years ago. It was the funnest thing I have ev er seen on TV. Bill Murray did a spoof on Ron Popeals "Dice-o-matic" by introducing to the world "Bass-o-matic." He took a blender 1/2 full of water and after a carnival sales pitch turned the blender on and dropped a 12" bass into the running blender. The water instantly turned brown and then he drank it.

To this day it is the funny as heck.

The reason for this gross story? Read it anytime you get hungry and maybe you'll loose a few pounds!

If you were living here I would feed you cactus leaves, raw, fried, boiled, in salad, etc. They are easy to chew and are VERY healthy. I eat them every week in various forms, inculding in tortills. Yummy.
Another thing to consider is the gormet Gerber baby food, not the regular Gerber. No, I'm not kidding.
How about some ground up jerky? You could almost swallow that without chewing.
One of the best foods you can eat is amaranth or amaranto. Some folks have called it a miracle food. The Spanish banned the Aztecs from growing and eating it as it made them too strong. Its soft and easy to eat. You can buy it in 'cake' form or ntural and sprinkle it on cerial etc.

Unfortunately, alcohol is no option for a while, doc's orders.

Stan, sorry no cactus out here. Plenty of palm trees though.

Chrisreyn, great idea on the eggs, I will have some tomorrow.

SheRam, I actually like baby food (somewhat). Still have some in the pantry, I'll give it a shot tommorrow.

Berner I got some good tater salad in the fridge. I;ll smash it up some more and try it out.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it.
Please keep em coming.

Actually I did not know that. I asked some Mexicans and they looked at me as tho I am on drugs. They had not heard of that either. I do know that there is a variety that is deadly poison but they look different.

well then, don't eat any that look like this. or this the first is san pedro, you can get this stuff for landscaping. The second is peyote. Indians used this one to talk to gods so it is illegal. There are more, but those are the only ones I know about. Don't eat any wild mushrooms either. You would have the day of yur life if you accedently ate one of those though. And do mean day(effects can last 21hrs).

I took an interesting psycology class about drugs and side effects.

Interesting! Thanks for the info. I will have to ask a tree hugger friend of mind about that.
BTW, I don't need any drugs to talk to any gods in as much as that I am one!
