Need Help Buying Motorcycle
You're going to love that bike. I'm a huge Yamaha fan and those road stars are EXCELLENT. Affordable, reliable (I want to ride, not fix all the time) good brakes and suspension. If I was to get back into bikes, I'd go the FJ1300 route. Great motor, comfortable, reliable and will do 165 mph WITH the hard bags on it.
As long as you can afford the payments and insurance, you like the bike and are happy on it, that's all that matters.
Just remember how the bell curve works. 100 is average I.Q. People at the bottom of the scale don't drive. People at the top usually can't find their car keys. That means that half the people coming at you when you ride are of sub-average intelligence. Ride paranoid, you'll live longer.

well I have to add something on this bike thread.Around hear the Harley guys don`t let ricers run with them. But I did with my 1973 Norton 850 police . No electric start and on the hills I would listen to the boys on there harleys hunting for better gears to keep up. I sold that bike on e bay for $9 thousand .Good gas mileage and lots of go. I now have a 500 Suzuki a friend gave me that I will use for the summer that will be bored to 650 soon.It was FREE.
very very nice! have a few friends with them, seem very reliable...gobbs of power smooth shifting, very smoooothhh ride, I'd buy one if I was in the market...
