Diesel motorcycle

It may have shown up on here already. I was looking at another website and came across this. The miltary version of the Kawasaki KLR. Kits are supposed to be available next year for civilian bikes.
Can you imagine the looks you would get pulling up at a truck stop and filling up your bike with diesel.

Wonder how heavy it will be? Ive wondered when it would happen. Long ago we had a Hercules with the rotary engine come in from Germany in a crate. the owner had me open and prep it but wouldent let me ride it.

i have a klr. its a great bike. the dry weight of a klr is 337 pounds. im not sure what the diesel version weighs but ill search around on the klr site i visit. rumor has it that the company building the diesel klr has plans to produce the engine and sell it to the public. theres just some legal issues they have from dealing with the govt.

Could you put on a hitch and tow with this thing? I've got a 30 footer. . . .

the dry weight of the diesel klr is 167 Kg. im not sure what the conversion to lbs is right off hand.

The weight would be 367.4 lbs 1kg=2.2lbs
