Need a belt...

I'm looking for a darn good belt!! I'd like hand made with REAL LEATHER, that will last many years. Not the crap you get a walmart and lasts less then a year.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find one.

Last belt I bought was at Tractor Supply and after three years is not showing any sign of wear.

Try your local uniform supplier.
Or maybe a Farmers Market where they make handmade crafts.

I bought a really nice one from www.montyreedycustomleather.com a while back. It is fully lined and Sheridan flower tooled. They are about 120 bucks but well worth it. His site shows mainly they fancy colored ones but he has many of the classic designs in stock too. Check him out, about the nicest I've ever seen.

Try your local saddle shop or boot cobbler. Last serious belt I had was made by hand from a saddle shop.

Been wearing this one lately and I love it. Strongest belt I've owned hands down but it aint leather. http://www.specopsbrand.com/ProductD...p?ProductID=26

Only problem with getting a really good belt is that they start to shrink after you turn 40.

Ouch, that's not nice....nor is it true at least not for me. You get mean when you get on the whiskey don't you. lol

I was thinking more along the lines of those guys can typically make anything out of leather like wallets, belts, etc.

Hmmm..you might be on to something. I quit alcohol on March 5th of this year. Maybe I need to start again. I miss my scotch and squirt at the end of the day.
