My Shepard MUST DIE....
My Shepard MUST DIE....
Some of you guys know about how she knocked me in the pool on Tuesday with my suit on at 7:00 am, well she really did it today.
I'm not sure if anyone knows but I had a fender bender with the truck about 3 weeks ago, my bumper arrived yesterday so I parked the truck in the back and started wrenching on it this morning.
I get it all apart and realized that I needed some fastners because the stock ones get destroyed when you remove them. So I left everything there, and took the other car to go get em. I come back an hour later, and the little SOB chewed up the 2 plastic covers that go on the bumper and around the fog lights on the bumper, and I was also missing a big *** 3/4 inch heavy duty nut.
I swear I'm going to Kill her, she looks cute but she is da debil.......

Bring her this way and if it's that much of an issue, I'll show you how to handle the dog and get her to do what you want. Stop thinking like a human and think like a dog.
Humans are dumb. Dogs are smart. They read body language like you would never understand. They know how you're feeling. They know who's in charge. They know if you're scared or angry. They know many times what you're going to do before you do it just by subtle body language. they know more than you could ever imagine.
Hmmm, maybe you could call the dog whisperer
I know guys, she's still a pup and as a puppy they likes to chew stuff, so it's my fault for not dog proofing the area. I guess I'm more ****** that I knew better.....
And NO I'm not giving her up, she is a really good dog other than the infrequent chewing fiascos, and she gets along with my rottie like family....

Mine helped me in the garage one day by grabbing a big flat head screwdriver and bringing it to me and proceeded to drag it down the side of my 69 dart tip side
good thing it needs paint and body work had to just sit there and laugh

You can see the four I have in my album, two Rotties, a pit and a shepard so I know all about chewing things up. Guess what, I would not trade the entire world for any of them. That's the way I feel.

. What I mean is this. Lets say the dog chews on something you don't want it to chew on. for now since she's still a pup, do NOT correct her, but instead, redirect her to something she CAN chew on like a kong or a bola ball. Eventually she'll get the idea. You can evern leave a couple of really good toys for her somewhere in the house. I prefer to only give them when warranted like when the dog is learning not to chew on furniture or socks etc. Over time, Jonah stopped chewing on that stuff and always wanted the toy. Now his toy drive is amazing, which is good for his line of work. I know you're probably not going to use her as a working dog, but the concept still applies. Once the dog knows right from wrong, THEN you can give her mild corrections, and redirect her to the toy she CAN have. It works if you're patient and remain in charge. Do not ever let the dog chew on you. I know it might be fun sometimes, but a pup will grow into an adult dog and then it won't feel so good. Plus, that is the dog trying to be alpha to you, which is bad.
You have never seen chewing until you have had a lab. My lab chewed THROUGH an extension chord that was PLUGGED IN and powering a heat lamp in her dog house. I guess she got hot in there and decided to turn the heat down.
She shorted the wires and it flipped the breaker, but it HAD to have shocked her pretty good before that breaker flipped. I will say this though...she has NEVER had any interest in extension chords since then.
Joking aside, Jack is right on the money. Listen to him.

I to will agree with Jack.Train them right in the start of life then later on theyre great. If you think a Shepard is a pain to train then come over here.We have about 10 Hybreds Wolfs that can be really a pain to train. You defently learn your Alfa Beta quickly.Took my Artic Shepard mix about a year of nipping at my rear to learn that I was Alfa not him.Not counting the wrestling matches either. Then you get to deal with the belly peeing.Nasty
I musta gotten the BEST DOG EVER cause he's never really been a problem child...Chewed a few things here and there, but he certainly isnt destructive....He was SOOOO easy to housetrain, great around kids, and WOW what a hunter!! I dont know that I'll ever have another when he's gone...
haha I have a good one for you. I went and bought some tacos from a mex restaurant in town and they wrapped them in paper then in foil. I asked for 3 of them to be without chile for my girlfriend so they wrapped them separately and also wrapped a napkin around them and marked it " no chile". I ate mine but my girlfriend wasn't hungry yet and we left them sitting on the bed where we had been watching TV. She left to run an errand and I went to my office to check e-mail. After about 15 minutes I suddenly remembered that I left the tacos on the bed in the same room with the dogs. They tried so hard to be good but the temptation was too much. I could see small bits of foil that they had nipped off but the tacos were intact. They got a really close sniff but they didn't get the tacos. I thought that it was pretty funny. I was just wondering what was going on in their doggy minds..... I shouldn't eat those, I know better....... but he left them right here they must be for us..... let me get a closer look..... they smell sooooo good..... I better not I'll get in trouble. lmao
