Momma got a new Ride
Been busy and wanted to share this a while back but....
Bought the wife a new Durango. Her 08 served us well but I like to keep her in a vehicle with warranty. Traded it in with 995xx miles on the clock. Gave me a decent trade and a good price on the new one.
Its amazing how much they have come in the last 5 years. Her 08 was a Limited and had a bunch of nice features, but the new Citadel, man its nice. Only thing we didnt opt for was the rear DVD, kiddos have iPads
Didnt go with the Hemi either. She drives like a grandma, so no need. Best milage with the Hemi was mid 17s, the new V6 has enough pep to get around, and the trip we just made to DFW area averaged 23.5 (hand calc, 24 on lieometer) and it aint broke in yet, only 6xxx on it.

Nice! Yeah, I finally got to the point where I am keeping my wife in something with a warranty.
I act like its because I care, but its really because I don't like turning wrenches any more.
However, she got a flat in her Subaru awhile back and instead of calling AAA, she changed it herself.
We have had AAA for over 10 years and never used them.
She said she didn't want to bug them?

When I saw the title to this thread, all I could think is, "Uh oh, Blake's in trouble and the wife has a new boyfriend."

Nice ride! Guess it's safe to say there'll be no chawin' and spittin' it on the floor in there!

Dang Blake....the pipeline business must be GOOOOOD!!!! Nice, fancy lil' big rig you drive and now mommas new wagon......I guess the guys that go through the Welding Technology dept at TSTC here in Waco don't lie. They say they can make a killing. However, most are still very young AND single so I'm sure their money doesn't hang around very long.
Nice ride you got. Hope it holds up for the family.

Looks like a minivan with a hood. And why all the buttons on the wheel? Last I knew cruise control only took about 4?
And that's about a 1/4 mpg better than my amigo got coming back from Sydney. But I bet you were going over 65 mph, too.
