What happened to the three R's [ Reading, Riting, And Rithmatic for the youngins ] ???
I may not be very good in spelling but I can cipher real good in my head. ;D
When my wife and I go to the grocery I can add it as we go along in my head as fast as she can with a cauculater.
Not slamming my wife mind you.
Is it me or has others noticed that most young people today can't do math in thier head. When you go to a store if the register doesn't tell them the change to give back they can't figure it out.
I sometimes give them a $20 and a quarter for say a $10 and 15 cent bill and watch them try to figure out why.
They can't seem to figure out to just give me a $10 and a dime change.

[/quote]<br><br>Hehehe...I did that once. Say the bill was $5.07 and I gave her a ten dollar bill and a dime. That genius gave me the dime back and then returned my change of $4.93. I didn't even try explaining to her...didn't think it would do much good. :
