Military jet engine techs......

I've got a question that may seem simple enough but I'm confused. I visited an Air Force recruiting booth at the race this past weekend. On display was a jet engine with cut aways of key parts to make it more interesting. When I asked, I was told this engine was used in most military fighters, nothing more. Now the question; As you look into the intake of the engine, what is the correct direction of rotation? Clockwise or counterclockwise.

Depends on the angle of the intake turbine blades. It could rotate either direction. Air in a gas turbine will only go one direction, but the turbines (rotors) can go either way depending on the design of the engine and/or its purpose.
