I've known guys to put "Stitchwitch" in the creases. It last quite a few washes. You'll still need to lightly iron, but the stichwitch will keep your creases sharp. Me, I just took my uniforms to the cleaners for heavy starch.
Our new BDU uniform (now called the ABU) is no starch, no iron, and even better, no more shining boots!

Pistol, I've though about that but that gets expensive. I think I'm going to look into starching my creases my self when I iron.

It does have an initial cost to swallow .... but when you are in it for the long haul, it's worth every penny.
I used to do the stitch-witch for the hem of my trousers (after I got yelled at for using staples ) ... never tried it in the creases. I figger'd it to be too wide for that. Guess not.
