Yaaaaaawwwwwwnnnn,

Dadgum kids .... eldest son popped a tire on his bike yesterday ... and neglected to take it for a test ride following the repairs ... so I get a phone call at 0530 to bring him some wrenches so he can get it going and make it to work on time. Who needs to learn a lesson here ... him for his wrenching skills or me for coming to the rescue in my BVD's & workboots ???

Boss is down hard again today ... eye problem this time. Macular Degeneration ...poor dude is just gimping along these days. Getting old is hell, they say.

I smell a fresh pot of mud burning ...

Good Coffee.
This room is too take a break in, not break yourself.

Speaking of stuff left out on the floor, who forgot to take the dragon out this morning for a walk. Gotta go powerwash off my boot now. Fresh coffee, tea, sweet tea, and ph00. And a big bowl of popcorn for Hat.

Weekend is gettin closer, about 48 hrs from now I'll be in a completely different frame of mind. Work was slow again today, assigned to strip down a loco for overhaul. Had a monthly safety meeting today, free donuts from the bosses while we had our meeting and took about 2 hrs out of the day. Next months meeting should be one of our quarterly safety lunches. I love those lunches when we have them, the company feeds us good.
Got nothing tonight, gonna catch up on some relaxing.

Davey - my work boss is down .... not THE boss. She's still up north stocking up on firewood ...gonna be there all winter if we don't get that house sold soon .

Found all kinds of "surprises" during todays inspection. The guys are replacing pipe as we speak. Glad it leaked where it did ... coulda been pricey.

Time to fire up the burner for the late night oil.

Cheers,
PISTOL

I like it cool and dry too - - like about 75 and 25% - - anything colder than that and it is too much. I will send you a picture of me IN my pool this February - - compare it to you ON your pool.

Now, seriously, sure love your country in the summer. Our 5 months up there was wonderful two years ago and I am ready to come back - - - IN THE SUMMER.

Hey, WUZZUP??? Tried to catch up a bit since being gone, but too much going on. Hope all is well. Had a great time in Tahoe, came home and got some food Sunday in the restaurant that about killed me. Finally got a bowl of cereal and some soup down yesterday, a bit more today so figured I would come online and say hi. OK, that is enough hi for today - - going back to bed.
