JWBM, You're not the only one the GF lives in a short world too, she's a hair over 5'. We make an odd looking couple, I'm 6'1" and she's 5'2"ish. When I first met her she said she wasn't short, just space efficient.
Paid the bills tonight, did some running around and filled up the dodge. Didn't relax like i wanted to but now I'm am. Had some beer and am going to go to bed soon, had almost a whole week of "vacation", the big boss come back tomorrow. Gotta keep on my toes tomorrow, he'll be out on the floor for a while I know.

It's not the fact that you spent the nite at Lary's that worries us, it's what you DID while you were there that's the cause for concern! 
Haven't looked thru all the posts yet, but I don't imagine I've missed much!
Conference was ok. Michael came in 3rd for PFALS Educator of the year... got a nice plaque instead of the $100,000 first prize. I was appointed by the Fire Marshal to the Mass Fire Academy staff as a program developer and instructor. Now I can die knowing I've acheived a lifetime goal.
Oh yeah, also got invited to a conference in Myrtle Beach next April as keynote speakers and program presenters. Is it nice there that time of year?
Who's been messin' around in my closet, stealin' all my chemicals again? How'm I s'posed to make the coffee without the chemicals?

Uh ... no, not really. They may have originally been intended to be boxers ... but that sure wasn't how he was wearing them !!

Woke up this morning to discover that a trail of small black ants had migrated their way in to the stack of clothes I had laid out for work this morning. Didn't exactly discover this until they were feasting on my ... well, my feet too. Dang things were in my pants and my socks ... glad I was alone in the apartment when I was doing "the dance".
Gonna be one of those days I guess ... better slice off some coffee and get on with it.
