The mother and daughter are both in ICU. the mother with a 90% chance and the baby with a 60%. we were also infourmed the when jackie and I try to have children we may have the same problems. I am sorry to babble on. some times it just feels better to get it out there for me.

I don't considerate it babbling.....I call it love and concern.

At least you and your wife know the situation ahead of time and will be able to make the right decisions.

My prayers are with mother and child.

There was a baby here that was 15 oz when born and just went home at nearly 5 pounds. Seems any more premies have a heck of a chance at survival.

As far as you having the same problems with your pregancies, I'm no DR. but that is pretty hard to predict, 90% of what we worry about never comes true. I would not let a statistical chance of a problem keep me from having kids.

Then again, nothing I say is worth a tinker's darn. It's your life, your wife, your kids, your family. You must make the decisions. Adoption is always a GREAT option.

My prayers go with them both, and a special prayer for you and your wife also. Crobtex is right. Babbling it is NOT! When we turn to our friends, we are stronger for it.

"Norman is in Ireland!" er, I think that is supposed to be "No man is an Island!!"
