What a NOOB!
Good welders can fix anything. The rest are either pipeliners or inspectors. Welcome to the breakroom!
Who you calling 'good'?
Yeah, most of YOUR friends are ruminants!
Sorry I didn't get in here this morning to start the coffee and give you your history. Left at 0400 to get into Bahston by 6.
I'll be back at it tomorrow tho!
chiakwa.

Evening all, truck is all done and the box of beer has a few missing out of it. Relaxing now and waiting for the GF to come over.

Evenin' All!
Cool a drizzily here tonight. I bicycled to work anyway.....
Only got about 3.5 hours sleep today before the phone started ringing. Then I couldn't get back to sleep. Hopefully something will happen to help keep the eyelids open.
Started out fast this evening. Finnished up the dayshift leftovers and the early night rush. We'll see how it goes.
Here's the first pot for the night.

Got a good little shake just a few minutes ago.

I didn't want a quake to bring the building down around me.

Quite a bit of activity out that way lately.

Howdy guys gals and janitor/maids!
Finally got a chance to sit down and read thru a few thousand posts that I have missed, and wow, you guys have been busy!
Finaly got all my fencing repaired, well, at least enough to get the cattle on grass, and got the kitchen remodel finished, and got enough of the yard cleaned up and landscaped to make the BOSS happy....gawd.. now Im tired again!
Still working two jobs, but took a week off both to attend a bombing response school down in Socorro New Mexico, I most HIGHLY recommend it to all teh firemen/emt/LEO types we got around here( google IRTB Training).. probably one of the best schools Ive attended ( and its ALL paid for).
I needed the break, I think Im getting to old for myself.. two jobs, taking in horses for training and tryign to get everything in this old house fixed, Im runnign out of steam!
Lets see, what else is news...
Found out I am gonna be a grand-pa in November, oldest daughter suprised us with that last week.. The BOSS already is wanting me to gut one of the spare bedrooms to make a nursery
.. trying to remind her the kid aint gonna be living here but its not working!
The younger daughter is on a Caribbean Cruise with her boyfriend and called last night to let us know he is now her fiance...about **** time.
well, thats enough for now, I need nap!
* plants himself in a hammock in the shade and leaves a wake-up call for November*

Holy smoke! Howdy Chris! Been quite a while. Sounds like you have been real busy. Gotta slow down and cool it everyonce in a while. Congrats on the new Grand kid and future SIL.
Picky, picky,picky!
Sure it does... NOW!
Sooooo.... the building is crumbling and the proper response is to lock them in a cell in that same building? COOL, I LIKE IT!
That would be cool, but I'm a bit disappointed in you. I took a 'shot' at you, telling you that basically pipeliners aren't really good welders, and I don't even get a smart remark in return? Go ahead and post those pics... maybe you can still redeem yourself.
"Trust me"... yeah, right. You southerners still think wall paper paste tastes good too if you add a ton of condiments to it and call it 'grits'.
Hey Chris, good to see you back around! I hope you aren't going to be MIA for so long again. Congrats on being a granpa, but we've all considered you a grandpa for a long time now!
megacabdad, if the coffee hasn't killed you yet... it ain't doing it's job!
Ok, here's your history;
On this day in 1431 - Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in Rouen, France, at the age of 19. (You have pics of this, don't you Chris?
)
1854 - The U.S. territories of Nebraska and Kansas were established.
1868 - Memorial Day was observed for the first time in the U.S.
1912 - The U.S. Marines were sent to Nicaragua to protect American interests.
1943 - American forces secured the Aleutian island of Attu from the Japanese during World War II.
1958 - Unidentified soldiers killed in World War II and the Korean conflicts were buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Coffee's ready, Tea and ph00 too.
chaikwa.
Sure it does... NOW!

showed her some old cemetaries around here, in between the cow pastures, fifty heifers thinking I was the food farmer...yuck, they have bad breath...
tombstones from 1700s....barely readable.
