Couple of batteries and a nickle would make for a pretty hard time welding. But it could be done.... by MacGyver that is...

Realistically though you could weld with a few batteries ran in a series to attain between 20-25 volts and 130 to 180 amps (pending rod type and size), however, a setup like this wouldnt last very long before the juice runs out.

Sounds like we'll get along fine... Looks like I'm also gonna have to start brewing more sweet tea now! Blake, I read what you posted about your job, some like a good job to have and very interesting.

Evening DTR, got home today after work and found my brother here washing his truck. Not only did he help himself to my supplies he also helped himself to my beer in the fridge and the beer I brought home after work! I did help myself to some too, we sat and BSed for a while and had a little beer. Looks like he's going to be moving to Indy soon to go back to school and get a better job since he got laidoff a few weeks ago. Washed my truck after he left. Gonna finish it up here pretty soon and sit and drink some beer while i mess around in the garage. GF is coming over later, she took her mom out this afternoon to do some shopping. It's her first time to the shopping since she had her stoke a month ago. She's doing good, recovery is slow but she is getting better everyday.

Man, I'm glad to hear that!

Mornin, DTR. Uggh... I think I hurt my poor little self in the gym last night doing shoulder presses... feels like my right shoulder blade is being pulled back... burns. We'll see if a run doesn't make it feel better. Ain't got much planned today... going to clean the room and my gear up, study for a test, and go to the gym later. Chest and tri's today.

See ya'll in a bit.

Be careful with those inclined shoulder presses.. Alot of people dont do them correctly and hurt themselves more than helping.. Not saying you dont know how.. Just saying

I was using a machine, I know what I did, I'm a retard... I was on my last rep, and couldn't get it all the way up, and shoved really hard, arching my back a little, and my shoulder blade popped out a little... I got it up, tho...
I just got back from a 'little' run, it feels a little better now. Bout to go get some chow...
