Nah, I had it concealed. It didn't matter to me one little bit. I was happy.

Sucks about your neighbor.

Wait till I heal up... I ain't seen no action in a while. What did the beach boys say? The bad guys know us and they leave us alone? Yeah.

I agree, I was just curious. That, and I've never really thought about DTR history. Kinda interesting that it could have been different back then as opposed to what it is now.

Well, my day is ruined. Just saw on the news, a story about a dog, 'Chance', a 5 year old black lab that 2 years ago was poisoned with anti-freeze, beaten, hung from a tree and left for dead. He survived tho, and altho his owner was prosecuted he only got 45 days in jail and a $2000 fine. Ok, I can live with that. At least the idiot got SOME kind of punishment.

Chance was nursed back to health and then adopted by a family that showed him the kind of love he'd probably never known in his entire life. It was obvious that these people loved this dog, and it tore my heart out to learn that Chance died yesterday from complications of the anti-freeze poisoning.

I hope one day that I can catch someone abusing an animal, because there will be NO jail time for that person.

Sorry, just hadda vent.

Man that just ticks me off til no end. To me pets are kinda like kids, defenseless in sorts, and nothing they do deserves that kind of treatment. I mean come on, what is more loyal than a well cared for and loved dog!

Good post, Blake.

Well, my afternoon was a little better. Maybe you can get some of my good feelings, Scott.

Went to the parent teacher conference this afternoon for my eldest child, the one that had all the problems last year from the move... he's doing great. After that, I went to the dealership to get the OL's truck, ended up taking the service manager for a ride... he was really impressed. He told me he'd take care of me good. Makes me feel good to make new friends...

Ok, off to work on fords!

NOW ITS REALLY TUNE UP TIME!

That kind of stuff really burns me up. Had a neighbor one time that tortured his pitbulls everyday. Made them outright vicious and evil.
We took care of the dogs and the neighbor...or let me re phrase that...the dogs took care of him, then we helped the dogs. Amazing they even trusted a human.
This guy lived about a block from me. The reason I found out what was going on was all the sounds from his garage...a little more information was gathered and we acted on behalf of the dogs.

Kids and animals, especially dogs, are my two soft spots I guess. I would have absolutely no problem offing someone that was torturing or abusing either. Maybe I shouldn't say that on a public forum, but if it comes back to haunt me, so be it. I don't mind admitting that I had tears in my eyes listening to the story on the news tonight. I'd followed that from the very beginning when they initially found the dog.

Thanks buddy!

I just heard a good one; "When you're on the Titanic you load the lifeboats. You don't stop to yell at the iceberg." That may have to go into the 'Thought for the day' files.

Evenin.

I'm about to lose my marbles. Kids are going nuts. We're gonna have to work on some independence issues with the two older ones. This asking me a question every 3 seconds ain't gonna get it.

That, and I don't want to hear it. "They're just kids, blah blah blah..." I'll mute you.

(I already know Lary is going to do it because he knows I can't mute him... )
