Just got back from doing a little (on the job) junk yard pickin. Got some trim parts for the mega that way I can mutilate them for the gauge instal and save my originals.

I was thinking more for a grab bag, not initial defense. She can hit a tennis ball at a 100 yards with the .223, but if she had to scatter, which she would instantly do, a couple slugs could come in handy.
I keep XX in mine, but I try to keep bird in the third and forth spots, that way, if the wife has to grab it, she just works the action twice.
Last two times I let someone shoot slugs out of my shotgun, grown men with what they claimed as awesome weapons experience, they both busted their faces with the pistol grip. I laughed at both of them for being stupid.
