well as for as I am aware its open season around here. I have been bringing in red snapper and it has been fine. of course growing up down here I do have crude oil flowing through my body. According to the USCG there are only a few places that are no fish zones and the areas are shrinking daily.

Roses love a little splash of whiskey, soap, non-diet cola and ammonia. Most flowers do. So does your lawn.
FWIW. more oil seeps into the Gulf naturally than what that open well produced. Everyone just lost there mind and went running for the hills when they could SEE it happening and blame it on an oil company.

Well, ok, if you say so. Never can tell with the news these days.

I've always wondered why it's termed 'TAKING' a leak. We aren't taking anything from anywhere or anybody. We're GIVING something. Granted, it isn't anything that anyone would want. Well, except maybe for Cincy. While 'take a leak' is in print only from 1918 onward, the term 'leak' meaning 'to urinate' goes back to at least Shakespeare. "We leake in your Chimney." Henry VI, 1596.
A more appropriate term might be 'LEAVING' a leak. Or to the more earthy people, 'leaving a calling card'. Or perhaps 'I'm going to make my bladder gladder'. A few others to consider; 'syphon the python', 'point percy at the porcelain' and 'trace terrance on the terra cotta'. A little limited in applicability, but variations on this are sometimes seen above the urinals (and sometimes heard) where guys are working on airplanes: "Aircraft with short pitot tubes and/or low manifold pressure, please taxi up close and don't sump on the floor. Not all pilots operating here are seaplane rated."
I'd love to continue this discussion, but I've got to go 'spend a penny'. I feel drained by this entire conversation.

by your choosing or this co worker inspired nastiness? hope it goes slow and steady....
weird day yesterday, scuba place from the city called us (rescue divers) to locate an item in a pond. (but my dive team pager did not go off?) It was in a small city to our South, nice guy who- lost his dentures in the pond. after I got all my jokes out of the way, hubby went in and found them in about 15 minutes, total silt out. we could not make this up. guy was great, some stuff going on in his life that is all good in the next few days.. we got some bucks for the effort and gave him change (wink). no need to get rich for having fun.
he was truly a good guy and very much appreciated this. so no concert but the good samaritan stuff continues..
busy day, everything happened at once but I kept my cool. all good!
hubby says THANKS to all who provided some insight on the grader concept application for the super lawn. LOL
off to do a tractor tune up for a neighbor...
