Rifled slugs will go through a standard barrel no problem as already stated. As for slugs for HD, not my first choice. Might as well be a rifle. I won't use bird shot for HD either. Too much chance it won't get the job done. I keep mine ready with 00 buck. I do keep a couple of slugs in the side saddle just in case the need arises.....As for recoil, it is a 12ga...... But unless you're shooting the 3" magnum loads it is manageable....

Lately I have had to keep my one neighbor closer then my friends...if ya know what I mean. Last time we went out of town he and his wife took the liberty to use our hot tub several times while the neighbor behind us made note of it. Then he decided that all of his large cinder blocks would stack better at the end of my back driveway and in the way of the garbage bin. Next he is standing in his back yard swearing like mad about how someone put all his blocks across his path to the garbage bin and how he fell over them in the night. Then he is out front on his cell yelling and swearing how his f'n neighbor is parked in front of his house and he is gonna do something about it. It was my truck. Then he drives away in his car after I watched him stumble to the car. Everytime there is a local pro football game...he goes to the game, drinks his face off and then drives home...and drives more. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring, hello local LEO friend...here is a plate number for you at the address next to me that just left.

I have tried to overlook this as much as I can. I think about my 4 yr old daughter and him driving wasted...its gotta stop.
