Ha. Man I feel like a loner. Sitting at home. Drinking a beer. Watching baseball. And I am perfectly content with it.

[QUOTE=PistolWhipt;2164796]I guess I lucked out. Never had any of the female persuasion working under my charge except in a duty status ... unless you count the one female JO that I had. At 4'3", she was just as tall as she was wide ... real nice gal and sharp as a tack. Only had to yell at her once (which is pretty good for an ensign). I know women can pull just as much as guys can, that's not the problem ... it's just that at times they can be, shall we say ... an "undesired distraction". Probably best I leave it at that .
yep, thinking the same but did not want to sound sexist......considering.

New football position?

Sorry, my sports seem to be a little skewed lately with Scotty Bowman going to Chicago and Pudge going to New York... AT least Ernie Harwell has his priorites straight. Makeing sure part of Tiger Stadium is secured for posterity. Almost lost the whole thing....

why did you give us the not juicing anymore, can't hit for power, can't get on the same page as Andy Pettite, not throwing out a whole lot of baserunners Pudge? i want the Pudge who hit more than 5 HR's and threw baserunners out from his knees!

is Scotty Bowman really gonna be coaching the Hawks? just read that he's joining their front office as a special assistant.

He'll be advising. Not that it matters, he should've stayed with the people that put him where he's at til he was done altogether. I guess his son is working for Chicago, though, so that's probably why. As for Pudge, who gave him to you? You call that pitcher a trade? Yeah, we could use some pitching, but was that trade worht the disruption in the team?

i'm sure that losing your hall of fame catcher shook things up some, but i heard that Pudge was real unhappy about having to split time behind the plate. if you get the Farnsworth that had been unhittable in July, you'll be happy, but i've seen my share of Farnsworth fastballs turned around about 400 feet into the bleachers. one of the reasons the Yankees hired Girardi as manager was he convinced them that he could do a much better job with their pitching staff, and turning Farnsworth around was a major part of it..... oh well.......

Yeah, part of the safety they're rellying on with him is the larger ballpark and a good outfield, should keep those grand slams down to a standing double maybe?

and who knows, maybe he'll keep pitching like he did in July.
as for the Yankees, we just need Pudge to fill in for Posada until he rehabs from shoulder surgery, and gets back next season (i hope). Pudge's contract is up at the end of the season, so who knows where he'll end up next year.

What're we talkin' 'bout, a bowlin' league? 'Pudge' sounds like an appropriate name of a pro-bowler. But where the hack is this alley you keep referring to? Man, I ain't never seen an alley big 'nuf to warrant havin' bleachers!

Coffee's on. Ph00 tea too.

singapore is a lovely city with nice cultural attractions and wide variety of regional ethnic groups. Its a chance for a Young man to broaden his mind.

Besides a general order (1-07) prevents all United States Navy and Marine Corps personnel from visiting the mall on orchard road.

Yeah ... like a sailor or marine ever let a general order stand in the way of a good time in a foreign port .

Orchard road, phuket, pattaya, and a couple places in PI were built and maintained with sailor and marine paychecks !!

Cheers,
PISTOL

I was always told that those general orders were recommendations.

Anyplace that is "off limits" is the good places to visit...

and you sound like like you have been on orchard road after dark
