Looking for good scratch-out compound...
But something less than compound strength.
Anyone know of a good product?
I have a 3" superficial scratch...down to the white undercoat but that's it.
You can barely feel it.
Truck color is black.
Thanks,
DT.

Not a bad idea Shovelhead.
I'll try it out first on a hidden area.
I was the culprit. I tried to squeeze inbetween the truck and a snowbank with the snowblower and brushed up against the door ever so slightly.
Took me a while to get over that one.

Sharpie matches better than the touch paint you can get from the Dealer.
1 year old truck, the "exact match" touch up paint wasn't even close.
3 years later, it hasn't faded a bit, but the original factory paint all around it has faded 2 or 3 shades.
Not my truck, but a friends, big scratch as well, very visible.

(I shouldn't talk as I've done it before; then again, it wasn't my car...)
