From scratch!

I was looking at the old posts and saw okie's about when he was gonna order the 16cm housing and the pod's and stuff. After awile I found that the housing size was cast into the housing and alot of other great info.
When i first found this site i was asking alot of you guys what you thought of your mods, all this time it was in the forums.I was trying to talk myself into starting the bombing.I have always felt my truck moved pretty good for being a giant all stock 44,000 mile first gen, but now im ready for more.I now know that I have a 21cm housing and am ready to start with some gauges and housing change (to start the madness) and ketch up with all of you.
Anyways I have been enjoying the site as well as the messaging between you A+++++ bunch of people and want to say what a good job you have done.
Thanks
-RATCHET-

Re:From scratch!

Still waiting for my boost, didn't want a chrome bezel. Just picked up the turbo Monday, and have been hunting for radiator parts and turbo hose, haven't had a chance to fit the pyrometer. I have some voids in my dash I need to check for ergonomics. I have a small drill press and hole saw. If I don't like the way it looks, I'll probably order a dash pod.

Re:From scratch!

i just installed my 16cm housing on saturday and i can feel a big difference. i decided to wait to turn up the pump for some gauges. But i think a new housing is a good start. I also had a 21 cm on my pickup before. Your gonna feel a big difference. ;D

Re:From scratch!

I had the 18.5, I'm off the next 2 days. I have to change the oil and get'er broke in, then I'll let you know. Gotta find someone to weld the adaptor for the pyrometer too. New radiator is here, waiting on part #s form Jughead, then I'll get the new 93 radiator in.
