Loctite ?
Anybody versed in loctite rules? Will a retorque blow the bond? Can it be counted on once a bolt is broken loose and re installed if there is still a good amount around the threads? I use blue and purple.
Thanks.
Thanks.

When possible I'll chase the threads with a tap or die, then recoat with Loctite (I only use blue these days)...If cleaning isn't practical, I'll apply a tiny bit of Loctite over the old, and reinstall......Ben

Once moved the bond is broken and will not reappear.
Threadlockers polymerize from fluid to solid due to the presence of metal ions and the absence of oxygen.
The elastic solid polymer has a bond to both surfaces, inhibiting shaking lose, also making the connection air/fluid tight and preventing corrosion by that.
A broken up mess of threadlocker can act as a wick to get more nasty stuff into the threaded portion.
It also messes up torque readings when tightening.
Liquid it has some lubricating properties, as a solid grunge in there it does the opposite.
