just moved from living in Austin for 5 years back to Houston. The hill country is indeed beautyful. if you have a sport car, there are some really fun back roads around the lake. also the whole city freezes over one or twice a year usually in late February and the city shuts down. stay off the road as they have NO idea how to drive in the weather. you might but your rig will be bumper car'ed
