on a lighter note, i got a call from the FBI

Yep. I finally got a call. At first when he told me he was FBI, my memory began jogging trying to figure out what I had done wrong....lol.

But, as many of you know, I had a dilema back in 2000 with my first CTD. The FBI is finally getting around to this scum bags case, and they called me trying to get all the info they could. I happily gave him all I knew, and agreed to make copies of all paperwork, and mail it to him.

He said that once he gathered all the info, that he would turn it over to the federal prosecutor. THen the F.P. would decide if he wanted to prosecute this guy.

So basically, if the feds decide not to chase this dude, he will be scott free. How can a person that steals 300,000 grand from the public walk free? THis is our justice system at work!!

I pray that the feds will prosecute. This guy is bad news, and right now he is selling vehicles.

Just an update from your happy, screwed-over, dodge owner.
Phillilp

Well at least they are getting to it. Look at it that way. I had completely forgotten about all that.

I guess you live and learn. So if anyone wants lessons on how not to buy a used truck, then ask me.

Yeah, We know how the justice system works with thieves!

5 or 7 years back we had a "Manager" at our other store 20 miles south of us. The store just barely broke even for about 3 years, even though we sold ALL KINDS of equipment. Come to find out, he was hittin' us big time, 6 figure big time!

Dad went yesterday to (give?) a deposition. They finally want to prosecute the loser, FOR WHAT? He's broke now.

Wouldn't be quite so bad if my cousin hadn't married his daughter, too. Needless to say, her parents don't talk much, now.

Criminals Suck,
Chris

Dang...and that guy could have been to Mexico by now living it up on a beach. What a sad situation the justice system is in!

Like you needed a reminder at Christmas time, sorry Phillip. Obviously it still stings.
