My collection, 1974-1981, was ruined by a leaking roof and silverfish...(sobbing at the memory)

But then again, I glued a ton of 70's Baseball rookie cards to a piece of pine board to hang on my wall...probably brain damaged from reading all those "mazagines" as a kid!!

 

Guest comedian on Bob and Tom the other morning said he managed to get the entire 1986 baseball card set. Then his mom went and put his initials on every one of them so they wouldn't get mixed up with his friend's cards.

 

That is forgiveable.

My Grandma sold my dad's stamp collection at a yard sale. She handed him $5 during a visit and said she sold them. He left for about an hour, cooled down and returned. He said he just couldn't get too mad at her.
