I don't remember too well lately, didn't we have Hillery for eight years?

I think his platform is obvious; He served in vietnam for a few months and has numerous medals, and he is against Bush, he will obviously make a great president!!

Needless to say, my vote is for Bush!

Off topic, but still dealing with Kerry. There is something that has puzzled me ever since I heard the story about Kerry throwing his medals, no wait, just his ribbons over the fence.
Have any of you ever tried to throw a ribbon? Unless it has any weight on it, such as a medal, it can't go very far. I saw a picture of the where the medals landed and there is no way that anyone could throw just a ribbon that far.
Wonder howcum no investigative reporter has never picked up on this?

The ribbon by itself is pretty light, but add the weight of the rack and you can sail it pretty far. I'll see if I can find an old set and take pics of the rack.

I always wanted to decode the medals. A man in my town was a Marine, and his medals/ribbons coverred a large part of his left chest. I always wondered what they all were...

Wilson,

Either that, or someone hires a hitman. I agree with you, tho. Hillary for President. That's not a slogan, that's a nightmare.

Here are a few you can practice decoding

Edit

I removed the picture after receiving a couple of emails. Apparently I am still considered a "baby killer" and sub human by some Kerry's supporters.

Since I posted that to give Zulusafari an opportunity to decode some ribbons, and not start a debate on politics or my Military Career, I removed the temptation

Some things never change

Impressive Lary......especially the Silver Star.

What is the ribbon next to the Meritorious Unit Commendation?
Is that three Purple Hearts?
And What are the two on the bottom row, next to the Viet Nam Campaign ribbon?

Does that Viet Nam Service Ribbon denote three tour?

Presidential Unit Citation

4 Purple Hearts

And yes that does signify 3 tours.

Those other two, we will wait to see if anybody can identify them

Lary nice rack but aren't you missing something??

Airborne, Special Forces, Prurple Heart, Infantry, Vietnam, but no WINGS or CIB??? The picture is not complete. Put it all together then let them read it.

I knew one of you would pick up on that

My CIB, Master Jump wings, Air Assualt badge and Pathfinder pin, are not on that old jacket. Probably laying in a drawer somewhere

Also the French Fourrageres Lanyard on the left shoulder is missing.
