Just got a John Deere gator, brand new i actually won it from a school raffle ticket. Anyway it is an XUV 620i i was just wondering if anyone else had one and how they like it and if there is anything to watch for. I was also wondering if there was a way to take the governor off to make it go a little faster.

Dont know much about them but I know a friend has one and likes it, but its pretty new too. I don't know how the Gators tranny is setup but if it is close to a Rhinos in design a clutch sheave may be coming out on the market. The clutch sheave on the Rhino will allow up to 60+mph without losing low end.

 

that would be interesting to follow i hope something like that does come out.
