Wife is seriously considering going to Belhaven University and I am looking to get away from IL so.....

on edit...I see you mean Jackson, MS. Where Belhaven is located. Sorry I can't answer your question about the economy there. IM sure it's depressed like everywhere else in the US right now....but prob better than most.

Jackson is like most anywhere. If you know where to go or not to go you`re ok. If you have the $ to live in a good part of town it`s a good place to live. My wife took a few night classes at Belhaven a few years ago. Wish I could help more.
