jack stand ratings

jack stand ratings

ok sdo this is just not making sense to me. When you get a set of 6 ton jackstands, can each jack hold 6 tons, or can each stand only hold 3 tons? I never gace this much though, till I want to get a coulpe sets to keep my trailer tires off the ground.

It depends whether or not you're under the vehicle at the time.
