Its Strange But True
When driving my truck I always pay attention to other Dodge trucks I check to see if the cummins is in them and if its the HEMI i just ignore it like any other ferd or chev truck
. Im more courtious to the other Cummins owners. Say if they need to lane change and im in the way I put the skinny pedal down and get outta the way. If it was another type of truck I just stay in my lane and keep going. Sorry I know that is bad of me.
I just respect the other owners because I know how much I enjoy my truck. My wife thinks im crazy
. Its just the way it is! Am I nuts?

Perfectly normal.
It's just like any other form of discrimination. We ALL do it, one form or another at one time or another in our lives.
I'm the kind of jerk that just doesn't even like any 1/2 tons, no matter the make.
Useless for the most part in my opinion, might as well have a mini-van and a utility trailer.

It is almost like the ( no so ) secret motorcycle wave. It doesn't matter what kind of bike, as long as it has two wheels they will throw you a wave. Although if you are on a rice burner the Harley guys will only throw a partial, wave.. I always got a kick out of that...
I figured it out after I noticed they were all driving Jeeps too.
It's too tough for us guys to do that, the badges were tough to see on the 2nd Gens.....

Just teasin'.
Rode in a friends mini yesterday - - well, his wife's mini - - he drives a "Mercedes" golf cart. He sold his Mercedes to be able to put the golf cart in the garage so he calls it his Mercedes. Anyway, we had 8 of us in the van going out to dinner after church. I was thinking how good the thing rode, up nice and high like the truck, quite peppy, gets 23 around town, carry lots of people and lots of storage room. Quite a practical vehicle. Ugly, but practical. Mentioned it to the wife - - she said "don't even think about going there, buster!!! You leave my nice big sedan alone." Oh well, there goes that "practical idea out the window.
It's true. I'm much more courteous to fellow cummins drivers.
I feel like a sniffin' dog, checking out other dodge trucks in traffic. Looking at their exhaust pipes, rear differentials, stickers, etc, trying to figure out if they're hemis or CTD's, and deciding how much respect they deserve. Most half tons are usually immediately dismissed to the "I can outrun it and out pull it" file.
