Isuzu Rodeo - Need to junk this thing

OK, so I have a 91 Isuzu Rodeo sitting in my driveway that barely runs. This thing is a piece of junk and I want to get rid of it. What is the best way you guys know of doing this? Can I call a junk yard and have them come get it? Can I have a service tow it away or someone buy it? What do you think?

I donated an '88 Grand Prix to a charitable organization. They picked it up and I wrote a little off my taxes.

Either the kidney of cancer foundation will usually pick them up for no charge and you get credit for a donation.

Find a charitable organization to donate it to. You get to use the value on your taxes next year. I donated a pick-up to the Cancer Society and got to write off $1200 for tax purposes and the truck may have brought $700 on the open market.

Some things are best sent to the crusher to be recycled back into the aluminum cans from whence they came

Scrap vehicles are bringing all-time high prices right now, but you still wouldn't get but maybe $60-70 for the thing - and it would cost that much to have it towed down to TT&E unless you find someone who will pick it up for free.

Donating it to a charity is a good alternative unless you have a way to haul it off yourself. Having a big, ugly, can't-hurt-it-if-you-tried trailer to throw junk on comes in handy sometimes, especially when the wife decides some things have to go.

You could make a deal with some neighbor teenage kid to cut your grass for the rest of the summer and then give it to him.

Ya know Jack, this could be interpreted as a thinly disguised "For Sale" thread.

If he brings it here, I can use up some of my old HX and launch it the rest of the way to your place

Houston we have a problem.....The shuttle was just passed by an Isuzu rodeo doing approximately 24,000 mph

You could take it to a local fair and sell sludge hammer hits. $1.00 a hit!! $5.00 for the windshield hit. $2.00 for the side glass hit. Then donate it to the local fire dept for Jaws of life training. They make nice convertables!!!
