Insane fuel prices

Well living here in Canada B.C. it makes you wonder who is charge of fuel prices. A barrel of crude go's around $40.00 bucks so fuel should be approx. 0.60 cents a liter ($2.28) a gallon ,So can some one ( with out all the bs and I wasn't born yesterday) tell me why we are paying $0.94 a liter ($3.57) a gallon. fuel prices had jumped 0.21 cents a liter in 3 days? 0.80 a gallon and demand for fuel is going DOWN. All I can say the Government is finding Every way to DESTROY what's left of this economy. ROCKET SCIENCE, you take a man's disposable income away you can not make the economy grow

I've watched the overall growth in base cost of Canadian goods & services since the early 90's. The added taxation in base cost (Corporate pass down) is self serving because higher base cost also adds on Provincial & GST. I spent a lot of the summer in Manitoba and get very annoyed by the poor quality roads. I asked friends in Manitoba what their tax dollars supported and most pointed to the high cost burden of the free health care system.
Why are Canadian goods sold in the US for about ½ price? A large portion of our petroleum comes from Canada and I pay $2.349

I have every confidence the same politcal system that created the Feddie Mac & Fannie Mae affordable housing loan debacle will do the same with a universal health care plan.

The US refineries in the Pacific Northwest are currently gearing up for some major maintenece work. It makes sense when the price of oil is down to do this work because less profits are lost due to the decrease in output. April is the big one for Cherry Point. Start saving your money.
