I gotta go with Willysrule on this one. NICE rig.

Truthfully though, if money were no object I would probably buy either a new Dodge 3500 DRW 4WD fully loaded or a new Ford F-350 SRW 4WD fully loaded. Long bed and crew cab on both. You guys can keep your sports cars. Give me a pickup.

Still...that big F-650 conversion sure would be tempting.

Money no object, huh? Probably what I have now, but done up like a Lil' Red Express, powered by a 12 valve with twins set on "rotate the earth" backed up by a 6 speed. I'm pretty happy with what I drive, but more power would make me even happier.

If money were no object, I'd have to fly to Germany to dope slap some DC exec with stacks of cash until they build a Ram 5500 with an 8.3 Cummins and 7 speed, and a full size crew cab.

Then it would get hooked to a Komfort Karryall (love the skybox), with a couple of quads and my harley in the back...

I wouldn't mind an Astin Martin Vanquish to tool around in if money was cluttering up the floor. But for a truck, if money (gas) were no object, a GM 3500 CC loaded with leather and the Bose stereo with a 496cid and the Allison would be nice. Yeah I know, go get the rope and find a tall tree but I'd like to have one of each.

AMC Gremlin with a fully bombed, twin turbo 5.9 Cummins, all-metal body (American Old-School), custom frame (Needed), best darn automatic they make, dual 5-In sideliners. Think the '38 Chevy in my gallery, but in a Gremlin. Oh, yes...

Or maybe a 72 AMC Javelin 390 CI with the SS heads on it, total showcar, all stock. Then again, totally stock Superbird would be nice. But a screaming Diesel would be better.

Choices get difficult. If money were no object, life would suck really bad. Ambition would be gone, as would the economy, and really nobody would have anything. What a stupid question. A better question is "If you had 3 Million Dollars to drive anything you want, what would it be?" (Picky, huh?)

Your killing me guys! Who wants a little sports car???? Ill take my truck, sand it all down, and repaint it the same color it is now(silver), some mickey thompson classic II 16x10 rims, some 285/305 mickey thompson baja claws, some kind of big nice bumpers would look cool, build my motor to about 450hp with a set of fast spooling twins or single(whichever works best), and a built automatic transmission of some kind. Go ahead and swap in a Dana 80 rig, and that would be my daily driver. Got to the truck pulls and hook it some, and drag race it a lot. It would still need to be able to pull 20k lbs with no problems with EGT's or spoolup, and be reliable(and it would be). That would probablye my dream rig. Maybe more HP, but I dont know. I would want it to be VERY driveable. Of course then i would have my 5 speed 12 valve pulling ruck with about 700hp, and my built automatic 4x4 drag racing truck with about 700hp. I dont know what you guys are thinking with these sports cars? Why not have a CTD that will outrun most of them? Whatver. But the above is what i would want. But i also might have an SRT-10 to have fun in every now and then too

Eric

if gas money were no object I would have Joe Mondello build a stroker big-block Olds for my 69 442 convertible, over-restore the body, mount up a bulletproof 5- or 6-speed automatic (originally auto - I have another 69 442 that is a coupe 4-speed radio-delete 4.33 geared factory go-fast car), and then drive it daily. Or maybe just restore my brother's 1970 Y-74 Indy Pace Car convertible Cutlass back to pristeen condition.

Would also consider dropping a properly-valved Cummins in the 78 W200, maybe a 4BT in my 69 Scout, and/or restoring and bullet-proofing my 74 Scout. Of course, I would have to do something with the 53 R-112 pickup - like adding a 12V Cummins and 48RE and power steeering so the wife could drive it.

My signature pretty much sums it up........
