Ideas on Lights for my new shop
If you do decide to put in fluorescents make a quick trip to the local supply stores to make sure they carry that length of light bulb. The goob that installed lights in my garage put some in that I can't find bulbs for locally

Nirion, here you go.
Please excuse the mess, I am still working on it. It has more of a yellowish cast in the picture than it really is..... I think the camera was still cold from being in my truck.

In our 40x40x14' shop I have 11 8' HO fluorecent fixtures plus two above the main work bench and I really like them. I have four down the middle mounted crossways and then on the sides I have four on one side and three on the other about 10' off the ground so they will shine underneath of vehicles parked in the middle of the shop. I do alot of painting and welding but with the lights setup like this I have pretty much eliminated shadows and don't need a trouble light unless I'm working underneath a vehicle. This is the best picture I can find that shows how even the light is.

Thanks.
