Just wondering...how many Union Officers do we have in here. I'm Secretary/Treasurer.

I just stepped down this year. Served as an Executive Board Member for 12 years. I enjoyed my time, I just thought it was time to get some of the younger guys involved. I still serve as an Advisor.

How many of you contribute to FIREPAC?

I'm a FIREPAC contributor. I strongly believe in grassroots politics!!

 

is firepac the thing we we donate money to politcians who lobby for the things we want them to?

WOW, thats some impressive video, gives you a whole new level of respect for that stuff. I'd be willing to bet that video ends up in a few Fire Dept. training videos

 

well yall may be getting another 'brother'. im putting my app in for the local Department where i live tomorrow. was talking to a neighbor of mine, who is a career Firefighter and an instructor at the county voc. center for the fire class. he let my dad borrow a battery charger and in talking, my mom mentions that i was trying to be come a Firefighter (arent they good at things like that). so i talk to him and he even offers to loan me his extra set of gear for training.

 

so does anybody on here have any good firehouse recipes?? I mean quick and good, and with lots O meat!!!
