I want another Zero turn Mower!

Been doing some looking. Need some opinions on these. Pretty nice price, are they up to the job. I do residential mowing on properties up to 7 acres. Any help is appreciated.

My Dad has a Ferris and it's one heck of a ride! Not cheap but they are nice.
This is what he has.

OOOhh Its got a Cat in it!!! Pretty nice, but we don't want to spend that much. Up to 5k is about what we're looking for. I need something reliable, and something that will cut through thick grass the first time...

that exmark has some of the highest blade speeds in the industry, they can mow a lawn i tell you what, take care of it and it will take care of you, not an off roading machine, those blades goin that fast and hitting solids = not good.

If you want an A class cut go with a Toro, Hustler, exmark(made by toro)

The skags with give you a b-c class cut along with the dixie chopper.

Don't know anything about farris or gravely, other than there walkbehinds were alright mowers, just not the quality of a toro or hustler.

We have a toro 62 inch zturn with a 23hp kaw\liquid cooled, that has over 1900 hrs on it. Other that 2 hydo. pumps and regular maint. it has been great. All we run is toro, and shindaiwa so I'm really biased.......for what it's worth.

SCAG SCAG SCAG, i have a 61inch turf tiger with the 27kawi liquid cooled runs like a TOP, i would not have it any other way. and scag hydro walkers are unbelievable, my opinion SCAG is top of the line in all aspects...

BUT if you are looking for a deal, i know a guy here near bedford tx that has a BRAND NEW kubota ZTR for sale, for 5k, i am not sure which model it is but i will find out

If you want something that will do a good job at about half price, try the Cub Cadet RZT50. I have one and have been using it for a year and a half now. I also on a regular basis hit rocks and stumps etc. I mow along a creek bank in the yard. You can get two of these for the price of the others. Not a lifetime mower, but for the use I give it, it's pretty tough. All the parts on the deck are cartridge type parts, for what would seem like easy maint. I'm not real pleased with the deck belt release, but it's not too bad.

Exmark Lazer-Z! Had one when I owned my lawn buisiness, cuts great and was built well. Mowed mostly St. Augustine but worked well in Bahaia too.

Either a bad boy or a hustler. Both are top quality machines. No thin stamped decks! both machines have either 3/8 or 1/4 inch thick steel decks.

We just purchased a 54" hustler with a 21 hp kawasaki. (supposed to be better than a honda, we'll see. Has a better warranty anyways 5 years)

Just make sure you get something in the commercial line, instead of the homeowner line. will make a WORLD of difference

I am also a pro in the lawn industry with 15 years experience with commercial equipment and I second the Skag!! If your cuttin large areas of grass... It's $$ but it would be none other than a Toro Groundsmaster 345 or the diesel model 325D. Not zero turns but they turn pretty **** tight.

Yeah, don't have much experience with the Toros, but I know they've been in this business for a long time. Thinking about giving them a shot!
