hope your truck is coming along! just got mine back a few days ago. and im still fighting the inshurance co. now my truck doesnt track streight. and the steering is hard to turn and sloppy. they say its wear and tear. but it was not tlike that before the accident.. dont give them an inch. they will take a mile sometimes.

other than that im just happy to have my truck backfor the time being.

her insurance hasnt admitted fault yet and i dont carry rental car insurance on my policy. her insurance has been dragging its feet since jump street

From what I understand (my honey is in the body shop biz) State Farm usually does not do this. You can specify OEM parts and they have to abide by it.

I have never had anything but state farm and I love them. They use the parts you want, but they base estimates off of the cheapes possible way to fix a claim. That's just insurance for ya. I think that's only if you want to use your own shop. If they pick the shop and you pick parts(oem vs used) then you usually fare pretty good. I've have always had money left after they fix something for me.

Farmer's is good also. A guy hit me and admitted it was his fault, called his own insurance and they contacted me and paid me. Easiest thing I've ever done.
