I saw the funniest thing today...

Well, I was driving in the dually today waiting to make a left turn at a stop sign. Traffic was coming so I knew I wouldn't be moving for a while, so I was looking around in my mirrors and such, just bored. Then I looked up in my rear view mirror and I saw an air horn. Because the vehicle had completely dissapeared behind my tailgate, I really couldn't get a look at it, but I thought it was probably a lowered Toyota truck or something with an air horn on the roof. Well, traffic finally stopped and I started taking the turn, and I looked back again and this time I saw marker lights, the roof ones. Ok, marker lights and an air horn. So I turned around and looked back out of my window and I could not believe what I saw.

It was an early 90s Ford Escort hatchback. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. I can't believe I didn't get a picture, but I didn't have the camera with me and my cell phone was out of reach and I didn't have time to lean over and grab it.

I swear it was the stupidest thing I had ever seen. A faded blue Ford Escort hatchback, with twin air horns and orange marker lights on the roof. Anyone else around this Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area seen this thing?

You think that is funny, I was pulling a load of cows to Siler City and I saw a Chevy Geo pulling a double axle trailer with two steers in it. Needless to say I was leaving the stock sale unloaded while he was pulling in.

Now THAT'S the dude who needs the air horn and marker lights!! At least it IS a duallie - of sorts. I had guessed when making the turn he was going to see a toy(ota) or toy Turd truck(all of which deserve to BE run over IMO - see sig...).

This thread makes me need to go buy a digital camera so that I can snap a few pic's of the rig running around here. I think it is a 2dr toyota car with a 4 or 5 inch stack on the outside of the pass. side door.

Makes me every time I see it.
