Well welcome to the club!! I got laid off in June of 08' and started running my business full time. Was alright through summer and fall then december hit. Now it's like an ongoing yard sale at my house, if it ain't involved in the business and you like......how much you offering! I'm all over the web looking for welding jobs, emailing people in NC, AL, MS, LA. I'll travel if it has a good paycheck, per diem and I can weld...wife on the other hand not so sure about me being gone for weeks at a time but don't here my Uncle complaining about bill payments and that's what he does.

Good luck out there hard for anybody to think about spending money got our bungholes wired shut with fear.

 

well today i got up and started looking around for jobs got a few apps in but most everything is part time or you need years experience, certifications ect. just gotta keep my eyes open though. im kinda lucky becuase i have dont alot of different jobs so i can usually relate one previous one to a new one in some way. jack of all trades master at nothing if you will. we all just gotta keep our fingers crossed and hope that this econo. comes around soon and we can all get jobs again..

 

I hope it gets better by the time i graduate from collage. Got another 1.5 years, if not i am going to be buried in student loans. Luckily I still have my full time summer job and my other part time job.

 

yeah i am outta school and my loans still need paid so its been interesting for me lately... i applied for a job at a motorcycle dealership over in jersey so im hopin i get that job, anyone have any luck gettin outta this club?

 

Every time I think I going to get out of this club it pulls me back in.
But Today I interview that looks promising. Wish me luck.
