I think I'd be walking that thing on the end of a pole, instead of a chain...

Check out the dude's pants, they're shredded! Ya think the "dog" did that to 'em, and was he in 'em at the time? He doesn't look too happy.

I wonder if there is a law that states you must keep your Hyena or any other wild animal on a leash/chain? Seems like everyone keeps pretty close tabs on their Hyena, ape/chimp/monkey.

I never thought Hyena's were that big judging by their size on wild life documentaries. But when you put one on a leash that Hyena looks HUGE!!

Did you even look at the picture ? I don't think "laws" apply here.

I own a hyena and they are extremely dangerous one in picture looks very malnourished. They take to one person and that's it anyone else is dinner I legally own and am licensed don't recommend unless you are a very experienced dangerous exotic owner

I had an Akita about 160 lbs, bit part of my thumb off while taking it off my sons face. I really don't think there is a Hyena that would have a chance against that dog. He would devour cow femurs like they where Hershey Kisses.

You don't want that thing running around, ticked off, with a minor case of lead poisoning, ya know?
Hybrid wolf "pets" were a fad after that movie "whitefang" came out..
Me and a few other deputy's had to shoot 5 hybrids after they attacked and killed a few neighborhood dogs and stalked then attacked a kid ... we had an entire subdivision locked down for almost 5 hours while we tracked them down..not a good time..
The National Humane Society recommended all shelters stop accepting or adopting out hybrids back in the 90's after about a dozen cases of them attacking and/or killing thier owners..even dogs that had been raised from birth had turned on thier owners.. one lady in FLa ( if I remember correctly)watched her "pet" literally eat her 2 year old son...

Exotics that can maim/kill have no bussiness being "pets" in our dense society..

Trained, responsible exotic breeders are liscenced and most will not sell to someone who is going to keep the animal in a densly populated area...and many towns/countys have outlawed owning them because of the tendency to "revert" back to the wild..

OK.. stepping off soap-box..this is a sore subject after seeing what one did to a 14 yr old ...

Are we any different? Personally, I'll take my chances with the wild life.
